Don Bernardo® Viejo Manchego - 200g

$8.99
No tax

Imported from Spain, Don Bernardo is Spain's #1 manchego and is made exclusively from Manchega sheep’s milk within the designated PDO area of La Mancha following traditional manufacturing methods.

While most Manchego is aged for a minimum of 2 months, Don Bernardo Manchego is a “Viejo”, meaning it is aged for 6-9 months for a more complex, rich and subtle nutty flavour.

How to enjoy it: The traditional use of Manchego is in tapas, but it fits perfectly on any cheeseboard. Try is also plain, sliced on bread, grated on soups, and melted in sandwiches. Pair it with honey and almonds for ultimate serving.

Pairing wine: Strong red wines such as a Crianza Rioja or Ribera del Duero from Spain.

Rind: inedible

Milk Type: Pasteurised Manchega Sheep's milk

Origin: Spain

Taste: Bold, with notes of sweetness and caramel.
